Unsurprising, I was a day 1 player but the game's balance was always bad but what really sealed the deal was the amount of reused cards which just switched over from one class to the other. No class was really unique outside of few very core mechanics(which fluctuated in strength).
I spent too much money on a game even knowing that it was flawed at its core(Haven/Bishop being natural counter with resource denial towards Shadow/Necro pigeonholed them into making either class too weak or too strong).

I feel like Nazuna and Nose got more enjoyment out of it seeing as the PUBG and BR format meant that many games are unwinnable sao it's no biggie to lose a card game where you know if you're winning or losing by turn 4.

Nostalgic to see these old clips where they played PUBG with normal blood. Non-burnt out Nazuna...

The peeking and deliberate approach of games like CS:GO and Valorant work because it's an enclosed map with 2 teams and specific objectives + strong positions. The appeal of APEX is you don't die immediately to that 1 rat in all-black hiding on the rafters or ceiling corner.

When a player gets frustrated over a lost shootout in Valo it's likely due to losing despite holding a strong/key position on the map or being unable to push through. In comparison, you can sprint to cover or safety in APEX, but in Valo or CS:GO, you rarely have that luxury and the reasons can be very personal. Poor reaction time covering an incorrect angle(whether it was due to bad comms or spacing out), that hits really hard because the player now must sit out the rest of that round mulling over what went wrong and watch their team possibly be picked apart.

Shit can get brutal.

As a longtime Noahfag I can't say I blame em. VSPO's strat to share viewer pool often resulted in collabs with other vtubers and I can't remember when IBG as a group streamed together as a unit.

It sucks if you're a fan of vtubers who had chemistry with friends but moved on from that phase and just want to see them with familiar faces again.
