Alright since I did this last month as well, Here are the top 10 /lig/ vtubers for the month of May. Note that much like the daily numbers, this is based on CCV over the course of the entire month, and since it is an end of month list I have added 10 slots for a full picture.

Top 10 Of The Month May 2022:

Obviously the big story of the month as far as numbers goes was the AAPI tag, which allowed many a vtuber the opportunity at the front page. There are several that did well for themselves such as Nagami Mugi, FeeBee, and Senniursa, but the clear winner was Darleeng. She won people over with her singing streams and until her valorant stream tonight was on a streak of 7 straight 2k+ viewer streams. The note for her is clear; keep singing and people will keep watching.

Other notable storylines include the slow descent of Saruei down the number chart. She very barely made the bottom spot here, which back in march would have been unthinkable. She is down 800 viewers CCV since last march. She hasn't been losing tons of viewers all of a sudden, but there's clearly a slow leak. I suspect her numbers will permanently stabilize around the 2-2.5k mark unless she whips out some drastic stuff to turn things around.

Although he did not make the top 10, it's worth mentioning that post coming out with his relationship with Nyanners, Lord Aethelstan has gained a huge swell of viewership. He's gained over 1k viewers per stream, and I expect his growth to be fairly stable at this point as Nyanners and Vshojo will continue to incorporate him into their content and communities.

This is exactly why I make a point to try and get the numbers as correct as possible without excluding anyone if possible. The only times I've actively excluded people were for these specific reasons:

1- FaceCammer/no model streams. I don't count those numbers because if you have no model, you aren't vtubing at that moment.

2-I yeeted Bahroo out of the numbers when him and bunny were getting cancelled partially because I had a feeling he was going to bail on vtubing after that (he did) but also so we didn't keep attracting drama shitters to the thread in the middle of the storm. It was bad but If I kept adding him to the OP numbers while that was happening, it would have been worse.

Beyond that I prefer to do the numbers as I see them mostly and then give an explanation for any oddness that I see. It isn't perfect, but It's the best I can do for now.
