Damn. This team is a mess. That's what I get just from reading this thread. Here's my take with this team.

>/vt/ has enough or more than enough generals and threads for a whole 23 players
>could have picked 18 generals as players or poll all the generals until the top 18 and the remaining 5 as board's most popular culture
>instead they decided to pick players one by one from thread cultures/popularity/memes/talents/etc which /vt/ has gazillion of
I don't know what the manager/s were smoking when they decided to come up with this solution when they could have copied /jp/ or most of the other boards for that matter, really that each player consists of each general from the board.
Your style of picking players could only work with smaller boards or boards that have a unified opinion with almost everything.
