Back then I would use to cringe at what Rain did to be honest, but I kinda get it now. Rain was just being a little shit to him to annoy him and get a good boost let's not ignore that and that was the main propose. The three know it will get clipped, they know they will do the cringe shit of the "rival lover... ohh the childhood friend trope' and Rain played into it. But it almost ruined her chances to meet up with Mouse, because people were taking it seriously. In some sense, it was a fun joke to make him cringe but it got too far, and I'm glad we aren't in those times anymore, because Rain really likes Mouse, it's almost like a little kid looking up to her.
