As for the HoloEN cover of Country Roads, you can argue about the quality of it, but I think there was a certain reason why they chose that song in particular instead of making an original song. And in retrospect it actually kinda makes sense to release it now instead of when they recorded it they really should've rerecorded it though because of the trails and tribulations that the HoloEN girls have gone through these past months. NijiEN obviously don't have that yet, and perhaps down the line when they've gotten some experience in, this song of theirs will resonate a lot better with me, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I would unironically say the Country Roads cover has more SOUL than Diamond City Lights as it stands, but again that would be unfair since I feel like this was meant to be listened to after getting a good feel of the NijiEN girls, and I'm not counting their rampant shitposting on twitter as anything yet

Overall, I feel conflicted. I want to like it, but I don't think I can until I know about the NijiEN girls themselves.

Hopefully I'm just being a huge concernfag but I do wonder how Calli is gonna handle things when Kiara moves back to Australia. Regardless on how you feel about the chicken she is definitely one of Calli's bros and it's gonna be hard knowing one of your closest friends is away.
