This but unironically. Homos wouldn't be such a big issue if they were jus a side bussiness and stayed in their bubble. You know kinda like Ferrari selling keychains and other gadgets. It's obviously not their main product but it doesn't hurt. Homos and especially their fans ARE an actual issue for Hololive. They are completely at odds with Hololive's main audience and what the branch stand for.
Idol culture and stuff like GFE will never be completely accepted by normalfags. And with Cover now trying to grow into the mainstream that's going to be a huge issue. The solution? Ignore it. Reminds me of that episode of Mad Men when they had to find a marketing campaign for Lucky Strike. The public was concerned about the cancer study and everyone was trying to find ways to damage control. The solution was simply to focus on something else and the joy that the product brings instead of the downsides.
And homobeggars are a big issue because they'll always keep that wound open, pouring fire on the debate.
