The major difference here is the phrasing and framing between what Marine said and what Fauna said.

Fauna directly told saplings to stop and touch grass. She essentially shifted all the blame and resposibility of the parasocial relationship on to her fans.

Marine indirectly told her fans and framed it as a piece of advice. Ironically, This is literally how'd you talk to an actual friend who could be going through something and your not sure if their ready at the moment to talk about it and confront it so you don't be so direct to sour the mood. In the end she also acknowledge she has a part in the parasocial relationship and not just dumping all the blame on the fans.
