think about it like this, you can either choose a random that you saw the audition of and know a little bit about or trust one of your talents word's that their friend will try their best and definitely not be yab
as a manager trying to avoid stupid shit i would certainly choose the latter most of the time
i don't even watch any big corpos or care about them anymore but it makes sense that nepotism matters so much
