/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

I am not loyal to companies, but I enjoy the content produced by streamers that are employed by companies and therefore I want these companies to remain stable and successful so the streamers I enjoy can remain employed and active producing the same style and quality of content that they do now for the foreseeable future. As such I may exhibit behavior that appears to be brand loyalty, but it is in fact entirely conditional on the streamers. I believe most people feel the same whether they realize it or not.

Now, I watch several Holos and some Nijis, all female and all JP. I don't care for Vshojo streamers but also didn't used to mind them existing in their corner and doing their thing, I was happy to ignore them. But recently they've begun to make harmful accusations, whether direct or implied, to the companies that employ my favorite streamers, which I do not appreciate. Kson in particular has made it clear that she wishes to change the entire landscape of the vtuber industry in such a way that companies like Hololive and Nijisanji can no longer exist, as least not with their current practices. She claims to want to free vtubers from restrictions that she perceives as evil, but the all content I've enjoyed for years was created under these restrictions, therefore I wish for them to stay in place, and so I will fight for it with the resources at my disposal, which primarily amounts to saying mean things online.
