Streaming is inherently competitive, because time is a zero-sum game, and most streamers fear that if they take a break from streaming if only for a few days, their viewers will get "stolen" by others
Of course. this gets worse for the Holos, because nobody subs to just one single Holo.
TL;DR: You should be thankful that ENs (and some JPs, like Suisei right now) take their break for a week or so every now and then, because that's WAAAAY better than Marine or Korone being forced to do it for 3 straight months.
