that's how it was during Coco's graduation stream for me; I was completely fine in the run up to it all the way into the stream itself - it was only at that moment where Watame was crying reading the letter that it got me

Sana (who actually had become one of my oshis unlike Coco) was somehow even worse but in different ways. With Sana I actually found myself spontaneously crying during her announcement stream rather than most of the graduation stream itself (and during certain collab moments).
It was only really at the very last moments of the Sana graduation stream with that fucking music box bgm playing that I cried. And then was hit with a profound sadness that would come out of nowhere from time to time at random for weeks afterwards.

Sure, you might feel completely fine and hollow now and might think you've gotten used to graduations but when it's actually happening in the moment and after she's gone then you'll know you're still human.
And even if she comes back in some form, it will never be the same; Luna was right nanora.
