Axia.. ;; His graduation has been a possibility ever since he announced his hiatus but this is still really sad to see.
Catalog watchers reduced his reasons to how he hated being called cute and how he hates his yumes/fujos but it's more complex than that. Sure he didn't like his chat spamming kawaii but the babying went much further than that, to the point that they'd even harass his collab partners (not just female ones) if they tried bantering with him, and they also didn't take him seriously whenever he tried addressing the issues. I don't think the fujos actually played a big part in this, as JP fujos are known to keep their shipping content hidden from the livers themselves.
Another reason seems to be whatever the hell management is doing, Axia joined niji hoping to stream games and have fun but they seem to be going down the idol route more and more lately and some livers don't like that. For example Thronez was started by the management, probably hoping to have similar results to Chronoir, but they forgot that the Chronoir boys themselves started doing activities together and it actually took them a while to actually get acknowledged as an unit. Meanwhile Thronez probably had less interest in being an idol duo unit, and yet management was trying to get them to do things they didn't really want to (especially Axia, I guess). All things considered, it'd also probably be really hard for him to come back and act like everything is normal after his last uploaded video.
So yeah, I'd really blame this one on disrespectful fans that kept on pushing boundaries as well as the management not treating their talents well. I hope he finds success in whatever he decides to do after this.
Sorry for the long post, seeing graduation announcements always makes me really sad. Remember not to take your oshi for granted and enjoy your time with him anons.
