I used to play a lot of Age of Empires as a kid, but for some reason the sound in the game was real quiet.
On top of that, it was a Windows 98 computer that would freeze a lot, so every so often, I had to get earraped by the Windows 98 startup sound, so hearing the startup sound as your scene transition is very nostalgic.
