No changing your username and name doesn't reset your membership, what does reset is if you move from a brand account to a google account.
I moved from my brand account to my main account and membered, and it started from 0 month. Then I restored my brand account and membered there continuing from 5 months. So now even though when I open Ame's membership page it shows me the total time of being a member on both accounts my actual badge is still Month 5 within a few days it'll be Month 6.
But I've completely deleted my channel then created a new one on top of it and still kept my Membership streak.
