Oh yeah, looking at it divorced from how it made me feel, Shubert really did his reps to make his movements as fluid as they appear on screen. People don't realize how hard it is to make something look easy and effortless, but if you try to follow along it becomes clear how much actual attention and practice it takes. He's a damn fine performer, that's for sure.
