It does seem a bit strange. Appealing to a Japanese audience that already knows what vtubers are, regardless of it they care or not. Even the novelty in the West is fading.
The interview may not have anything new (unless it's translated stuff she hasn't told that audience before) but that feels like every interview I read with artists I like. Their life stories don't change. Just another chance to show their face and remind non-diehard fans that they're there and doing stuff. It's still another milestone for her.

With her getting close to Teddy, hope we get some PSG tunes in a karaoke (I know he didn't make this one. Still want to hear Mori sing it.)

Followed Mori since debut, eventually looked at the other (as is common with musicians when you want more of them) Enjoyed that too. Nothing wrong with it. Not going to claim to be a proto or that one act is more valid than the other. There's a variety of stuff she's put out and it should all be explored to get a better grasp of who she is and to see how she's grown. Don't like a song? Skip it. Like one? Blast it!

One year in and what a ride it's been. Highs, lows, but always enjoyable.
Mori came into my life at the perfect time. Her music helping me get through a shitty time and her personality & story helped me realize things about myself. Feeling more inspiration, more dedication, and remembering how to chill out and have fun like I used to. Mori has been such a positive influence. Even if she's made me adopt some of her dorkisms like going "yoisho!" or calling things "Gucci."
Happy anniversary to my oshi! Someone who I want to continue to see thrive. A creator I want to follow even when all this ends. Hololive is one of the best things to happen to her (and the other girls of Myth) and she has repaid that favor to them, so I hope that relationship goes on for years to come. Big ups to: Mori Calliope!!

I did go back like ten months in the Dova-Syndrome catalog but no telling when Mori actually made that animation or chose the music.
