Doing a bit of weeknight drinking while listening to Fulgur chatter away.
I think I've said it a couple times before but I'll say it again: What I really like about vtubers over facecam streamers is the culture of just being super chatty at all times rather than simply playing and occasionally providing commentary. One of the chuubas I watch recently opened an RM faceam account and they kept those habits and it's really freaking fun.

There's also things like Uberduck.
Voice synthesis these days is legitimately approaching levels good enough for on-the-fly AI speaking, though we're not fully there yet and IIRC consumers *enjoy* a slight mechanical inflection if the papers I read are right.
Alexa for example is made somewhat deliberately neutral to avoid uncanny valley.
