Do you see how people contribute to posting even crazy things just for fun on 4chan? Now imagine something that's effectively a shitpost with audio, animations and user input. Hell, the person who replied to you first went out of their way to tease you.
Anyway, my point is that most people don't take it so seriously. Those that do are already a minority, in a minority which is the number of fans that care to make online posts anywhere about this stuff. It's just literal fun and games for most people, you know?
