Global will bring also people from other places so they will bump your thread and will also give you some perspective on what others are doing.
A rookie thread isn't bad per se, and you will have to join /wvt/ anyway when you finally understand the only thing you need to be there is to have one person who likes you, you don't know this because you are rookie. Welcome to the army soldier, the battle just began.
