I haven't commented on your chapters since the ones back in the contest, but I do check them out when I notice an update since they do have a relaxing prose to them and the overall intrigue is entertaining. I suppose I'm a little confused on what's got ya all twisted up in terms of the story and how you're releasing it. I think there is some merit to waiting on more of the story being finished before releasing certain parts, but it depends on if you're looking for iterative feedback or not. Releasing segments as you get them done is just one of the ways you can do things, and that's just fine. It's also pretty natural to get attached to your own passion projects. Hell I can speak to that, it takes up a lot of my headspace and I kinda love that something I'm creating can make me feel that way. That of course comes with its own baggage of wanting to make it the best it can be and giving it your all, which can be both invigorating and draining at the same time, so it's also important to recognize how it might be affecting other aspects of your life and choosing what comes first. At the end of the day, when your own projects become almost like these living breathing parts of you, just like you want them to be their best, they want you to be your best too, so it's important to give yourself the slack you need. Just remember that you need to do what's best for you sometimes, since if something happens to you, your story can't be finished anyway, and neither you or your characters want that to happen. Just keep truckin up through life and you'll make it.

The pace and content of this chapter was pretty easy to read and follow. Each scene had a clear flow and purpose which you did a good job with showcasing. At the time I read it there was an extra line spacing around where the letter was found. I don't know if you caught that already or not. There was another typo somewhere else earlier in the chapter but I can't remember what it is, if anything it was a minor sentence structure thing.
I thought the conversations with Fubuki were a nice tough. I'm just gonna let you cook with this still, but I still have no idea why Anon retains his salt towards Ayame.
The dragon might be my new favorite character though.
Also good work sewing just enough uncertainity on if anon was going to take that plunge or not. I genuinely thought it could have gone either way

I will give that a shot. I also started watching Mushoku at an irl friend's earnest behest, and I really like how it is doing world building do far. My friend promises me that they go a lot into the various religions in a decent way, so I'm hoping that will give me some insight into how to go about that in an interesting and engaging way.

Thanks Anon, I needed the slight encouragement. I'm actually feeling somewhat accomplished today so far. I managed to do half the mowing I had to, and I stumbled my way into fixing the pool filter motor by just taking it apart and putting it back together again. I'm in immense discomfort since bugs decided to bite my ankles and legs a little, but that'll hopefully pass soon. I'm gonna try to get to certain scene in my current chapter today. If I can meet that goal, I'll be pretty content.
I also thought about how it might be cute to eventually have a scene about a moth girl hag that feels naturally drawn to Anon because of his natural affinity for starlight magic. That would be kinda adorable. She'd be made the fuck up since I don't know any moth vtubers, but I like to think about little ways to showcase the non human side of all these hybrid women.

Character dialogue is a great creator of scenes for me, but I also enjoy letting the scene / location itself spark those conversations sometimes.

I think the anxiety you feel comes from that initial barrier of getting out of your comfort zone and producing something with the intent for others to see it. The fear of getting passionate over what you might create is not a bad thing either, in fact, use it to make what you envision the best it can possibly be. What's more important than anything is to take things at the pace that is comfortable for you. None of this is a race, and everyone writes at their own speeds. You gotta do what works for you, and I know that initial dive might seem scary at first, but once you jump, it all becomes simple. Glad I could help you somewhat, and don't be afraid to speak up whenever you got a question here. This place is pretty cool.
