I enjoyed watching Sonny's second Super Mario Sunshine stream today - he beat the game for the fifth (approximately) time in his life! Initially, he said there's never enough sunshine and that he didn't want to finish the stream at the final boss - which is something I've always liked about his streams. When he's playing games that have extra challenge content like Superhot, he doesn't end at the 'ending' and goes back to play just a little more. Unfortunately, he didn't really do that this stream, presumably because some stages took longer than expected thanks to pure retardation.
Like the previous Super Mario streams, this was a very chill, comfortable viewing experience - perfect for relaxing to despite the clear amount of frustration he was feeling with some of these stages. Some of that he channeled into funny bits, like his extremely depressed 'wahoo' and theme song rendition before pretending he'd just blacked out for a moment and nothing had happened; some of it manifested itself in increasingly annoyed cursing. He also jinxed himself so often that people thought he might be throwing for content, and honestly, I can't even tell myself because some of those moments ended up being tragicomedy gold. I suspect some of that exasperation with the game bled into his customary post-game review, because he had a lot of positive things to say about the game but kept going back to how he felt SM64 had better controls. The jetpack made up for it, though. Guy is easily satisfied with cool mechanics and bright colors.

Thanks for listening to my TED talk. Today's been a great day for streams. I'm still thinking about the two Detective Conan songs Pomu did in her karaoke earlier.
