might change it to loose hair. to be frank, i'm not quite satisfied with how it looks now, but can't pinpoint why.

i wanted to limit myself to doom's palette. will tweak the jacket. wanted to make it black at first, then dark green, but neither looked good.
i do want to keep the color scheme rather muted. as you said, low-energy. i prefer to keep things calm.
