When I was rewatching Moribito, this scene was the spark that started Balsa. The line "I am a tiger! and if you get any closer I'll swallow you as well!" still gives me chills and I'm hoping to write a line like that in Blackbean. Moribito is a huge influence on both stories.

Most of my other stories don't really come from outside influences. Kafka is just T-dumping and Building Block Doll is just a collection of fantasies I've always had.
