To elaborate on this point even further, it's not just a semantical argument, it also comes down to the fact that women quite literally cannot feel ANY true sexual attraction/physical attraction to, or any sexual arousal from, other women. Like, literally, they don't feel any kind of horniness towards each other. As in, that physical feeling of horniness just doesn't happen for them. They just straight up don't feel it at all. Even the part of the brain that lights up when subjected to sexual imagery doesn't light up for women when they're shown sexual imagery of women, it literally only lights up when they're shown sexual imagery of men, because women can only be attracted to/aroused by men.

So, yeah, when someone says "lesbians and bisexual women don't actually exist", it's because they quite literally just straight up don't exist. They don't meet the requirements for it. Even if you see a woman in a relationship with another women, they don't actually feel anything for each other, at least sexually speaking, nor is there any physical attraction towards each other. The most that exists is a fleeting emotional connection, but that's literally it. Nothing more.

So, yeah, I hope that clears things up, not that you'll accept this information, even though it's incontrovertible fact and observable reality itself proves me right.
