I get people’s love for 2022 but it really wasn’t all that good for me and my oshi looking back. Yeah he got noombers and money and his brother and Ike and the asmrs were good, but it was at the cost of everyone putting all of his and his fan’s actions under a microscope. The general fandom wanted any excuse to see him gone or to hate on him, and seeing his female coworkers give him no respect and constantly diss him and his fanbase while doing anything they can to clout chase his noombers was disheartening given how much he tried to give back. We don’t even need to talk about may. I never really felt the “unity” people talk about with him and his projects to this day. Where was everyone’s big I LOVE NIJI AND MY COWORKERS energy when it came to his big movie? At least the guys gave him a bit more respect in that regard.
I’m way more happy where we are now that the general antis got bored with him and that he’s doing what he wants with cool results.
