It must have been some kind of clerical job because pretty much everyone who works in the emergency department gets jaded very quickly and they're just there to stabilize people and transport them out while also dealing with the dregs of society hitting and spitting on them. Coming across an ER nurse, EMT or paramedic who isn't a callous asshole is a rarity in my experience. Can't see Yuy surviving in that environment for long.
