A dog made of bread fell from the sky,
A strange sight to greet the passerby,
But there it lay, a loaf-like hound,
On the grassy earth, it had been found.

Its crust was golden, its fur was brown,
Its eyes were raisins, looking down,
Its shape was perfect, like it had been baked,
And yet, from space, it had somehow made its escape.

People came from far and wide,
To see the bread-dog that fell from the sky,
Some were amazed, while others were scared,
To see such a strange thing that had appeared.

But as the days passed, something strange occurred,
The bread-dog's presence was becoming absurd,
For it began to move, to walk and to play,
As if it were a real dog, in every way.

It ran and barked, and wagged its bread tail,
It fetched and played, it never did fail,
To amaze those who watched in disbelief,
At the sight of a bread-dog, so strange and unique.

And though it was made of flour and yeast,
It had a heart, that never would cease,
To be a loyal friend, to those around,
The bread-dog that fell from space, had been found.
