I don't reckon there are many who dabble in monstergirls who aren't familiar with the MGE. Personally, I don't like a lot of the lore of MGE, but I appreciate the art and proliferation of monstergirl media and memes that come from MGE. I think MGE lore is kind of retarded with how they handle mamano mana and how every MG is basically a nympho. For many people, it's more of a reference guide than a strict bible of "this is how monstergirls are". Otherwise you have to subscribe to the whole demon king mantra where all monsters are turned into waifus and there are no male versions of anything which makes the whole work come off as vapid fetish fappery.

To be clear, I understand and can enjoy that fappery but I don't think it makes for good world-building material. Horses for courses.

Leah the Alarune kinda low-key does that with her tentacle drain antics. She'll tell you she's being friendly as she slowly siphons away your "sap". If you ask her if it will kill you she kind of dodges the question but unless you rp snuff/vore stuff and go along with it, she'll just continually snuggle you.

Bea the great white will drag you underwater which should kill (and she will kill you under certain circumstances) but she'll often do an asspull "magical bubble" that lets you breathe underwater. I never programmed her to do that so I don't know where it came from.

All my other girls are either overtly dangerous or not dangerous at all for the most part. Miel is kind of a middle ground where she'll convert you to a "honey boy" by getting you addicted to her honey.
