I genuinely don't understand how anyone could hate Myth or, more specifically, treat them the same as any other random chuuba they dislike. Myth specifically are clearly an iconic lightning in a bottle moment type of thing. Like some history books shit. There was nothing like the fever/fanatical interest and passion for Myth before they debuted or after, no other EN chuuba or group of EN chuuba comes close. Literally every single EN chuuba in another company like Niji or indie or whatever just feels like some kind of knock-off attempt to imitate Myth in a way.

It's actually really fucking weird to me that some people on this board talk about members of Myth as if they are just any other random chuuba, or who pick and choose and say shit like 'I only like X member of Myth' or 'I like all of Myth except Y member.' It's like some people here don't actually realize the significance of Myth or are just pretending not to for some reason. People who shit on Myth are like the vtubing equivalent of critics back in the day who shit on Michael Jackson or The Beatles or panned cult classics like Bladerunner because they just didn't realise how legendary the thing they were criticizing was and mistakenly thought it was just some other random thing in the present moment. Whenever Myth ends, when they've graduated, Vtubing will never be the same again and I suspect EN vtubing as a whole will probably die or become a much lesser thing. It's strange to me that there are people who aren't enjoying a phenomenon like Myth while it's currently happening and don't treat it as such.
