Hello anons. If the Dragoon comes around later, could someone link him to this post? I have some questions for him regarding the potential history of our nations, but I'll be pretty busy today and don't know if I'll have time to pop in during his usual active hours. The questions:

1. Panon and I talked about this before, but I don't think it's come up since you joined the thread. We discussed the idea of Stargazers being like the Oracle of Delphi, having diplomatic immunity from the Empire's civil war shenanigans due to their status as divine prophets and oracles. Obviously each kingdom has its own oracles too, but I bounced the idea of Stargazers being considered THE oracles, and also the idea that killing a Stargazer is viewed as a horrible, unthinkable sin due to the belief that the gods sometimes disguise themselves as one to deliver prophecies directly to the people. On a meta level, it's a translation of two things: the way half of /nijien/ has a total mental breakdown whenever ukiposter disappears for a day or two, and the obvious actual leaks from nijiEN staff/chuubas to /here/, like that post in /nijien/ which accurately predicted the entirety of Noctyx's character motif lineup. Are you alright with this? If not, it's perfectly fine if you just want to say Selenium doesn't acknowledge Stargard's oracles as true oracles.

2. I need a historical would-be conqueror. Some time in the Empire's past, a particularly ambitious (and foolhardy) conqueror would have attempted to invade and annex Stargard, in a bid to gain political control over the Empire as a whole through the Stargazer oracles. The attempt ultimately failed, but it resulted in destruction across Stargard, devastating the local population and throwing the region into turmoil. Delivery of news from the Heavenly Realm very nearly ground to a halt, which pissed off basically everyone, not just Stargard's allies. This would've been what ultimately resulted in the Empire as a whole agreeing on the whole "Stargazers are protected by divine right, killing a Stargazer is both a war crime and mortal sin" thing. I haven't had time to thoroughly read all your lore yet, but with the Dragoons' predisposition for war and all your talk of Dragoons considering the entire Empire rightful Selenistic territory, I thought a Dragoon would be a good fit for this. (And if the Dragoon says no, Panon, could I have a Pomudachi for it instead?)

That's all, thank you for your time!
