>1 PM yesterday, wake up late due to test-streaming with my new Elgato for the first time the night before
>decide to finally buckle down and finally finish that damn audition video
>did I say finish? I meant finally start
>use the fantasy novel ideas I started working on during quarantine as base for character to write the script
>1500 fucking words, backstory of my character, 4 more characters featured
>9-10 minutes of of me acting out a text
>SHIT, THIS ISN'T 5 MINUTES
>trimming that shit down
>manage 6 minutes, is this really okay?
>attempt to make character trailer instead, trying to make it similar in style to the old HoloMyth trailer
>not enough time to come up with something coherent, decide to use the 6 minute script instead
>been over 6-8 hours of writing and rewriting and recording and rerecording by this point
>put that shit in Premiere, time to make it come to life
>haven't used Premiere in months, have to relearn shit as quickly as possible, use easy effects to make it look serviceable
>ESL with good fake American accent, notice some speech problems when hearing the audio in Premiere even though I didn't hear them before when checking the recordings
>no voice left for rerecordings, decide to put subtitles and some BGM to make it unnoticeable
>7:15 AM, finally done, rewatching final product
>there's a bit that makes me cringe even though it didn't make me cringe before
>have second thoughts about sending this last-minute pile of crap
>8AM, submission sent
