Even if she isn't completely over it, she should shut up about it and not ruin Christmas with it. The part of the screencap that makes me think she blames all of Hololive is how she said "surround yourself with merciless people". If she wanted to make a distinction, she should have. I was watching the live too. And yes, that "situation" around her termination had an impact on Cover like you said, which is why she should've shut up, but she didn't, she had to go rogue and it's stated to already have happened multiple times before. This makes her not the only victim of the situation, but she keeps playing it like she's the only victim. I am not disregarding her mental illness, I am just pissed she didn't do anything about it to make herself better, even something as small as shutting the fuck up about past grudges on fucking Christmas. Her mental illness doesn't excuse every single shitty thing she did. If the fallen angel question was truly asking about her termination, she could've played dumb and given a dumb answer or ignored them; or filter the question before the Q&A starts.

I don't hate Rushia. I loved her. It was just a few days ago that I watched a clip of her 3D live singing Secret Base with Shion and wished she never left. I want to watch Rushia for her cute voice, death-metal screams, songs, games and kindness; without her still being salty over what happened at Hololive. Even if you're right on everything, these menhera acts are becoming too much for me. Until she improves, until she lets go of the past, I can't continue watching her.

Here's my go at explaining this, and tying it into everything that Gura does that tends to get put up as a negative thing for her. Before I do this, I'll be clear: My sources are non-existent and I am spinning analysis from nothing but what I see of her on-stream and how she acts, and do not claim to be definitively correct.
But if I were to guess, this is in line with Gura's most common choice of how she deals with stressors: She doesn't. She doesn't deal with things that are bad, or sad, or upsetting. She runs. Hides. Becomes non-confrontational. Avoidant.
When Gura has an issue with something, or is forced to deal with an emotion that isn't either happiness or basic "existence," i.e. that feeling you get while lounging in bed all day, her first response reaction is to wish that it didn't exist.
If she feels stressed out by streaming, her reaction isn't to try and change up her formula or figure out a new way of delivering content so that it's easier for her: She just doesn't stream. Easier to avoid than to fight and fix.
If she feels like it's a pain to get permissions for something, even if she's having fun with it, she isn't going to work with her manager to try and simplify the process on her end: She just won't play that game anymore. There are a bunch of games that are much easier, so why go through the trouble?
If a co-worker is graduating, and doing a collab with her might make you emotional, sad, upset, in any way? Well... she'll be gone soon anyways. Why should you have to cry? Crying is bad. That's not a happy feeling. If you don't interact with her, you won't feel sad. You see how the other girls are crying, right? You don't want to cry. So don't.
She probably does feel sad despite that, though. What's her content these days right now? Stuff that goes to her members, where she's always been happier than public streams. Indulgent stuff like roleplay streams. Not that it's bad content. But it's indulgent. Not just for you, the viewer. But for her, the streamer. It makes her happy to be in another, constructed reality. A roleplay. Where you don't have to think about your co-worker leaving and your friend circle getting just that little bit smaller. Out of sight, out of mind. Replace the sadness with the rush of being doted on by your roleplay partners, the audience.
None of this is to say "I don't like Gura," or that "she's a bad person," or even that any of this behavior is inherently wrong compared to any other coping mechanism someone may use. But if you were to ask me to explain what's been going on(Which, I understand, literally no one asked), this is how I would explain it. Avoidant personality explains both this issue, and all of her other issues.
Feel free to disregard literally everything I just said if you think it's retarded, or too long, or in bad faith, or any other way to throw it away, because I won't claim that it's absolutely true. But it's a possibility that isn't entirely retarded, at least, I think it is.
