He does not like the idea of piercings being snagged on an object and potentially ripping the skin which is why 1. he would not get one and 2. the piercings his other outfits already have are just clip ons due to kayfabe, and a piercing in that area is just begging to be ripped out. I feel the same about all piercings but I have never seen one on the webbing of one's hand between the pointer and thumb.
