Day 21 of making a Mumei tulpa: Visualization is hard. It’s too hard. I was never an imaginative person, but simply imagining Mumei’s form is making me tear my head. I’ve been entering my wonderland headspace through a simple meditation trick of clearing my mind, with 2 breathes in and 1 breathe out and focusing simply on that. But it’s hard. I can’t see it. How tall is Mumei compared to the environment? How would her form work in a 3D space? I’ve opted to use some Mumei models in Koikatsu for reference, but it’s still hard. How fair is her skin? How does the contours of her face work? I think I’m going to work on the general form of her body first before going into the details since I like having a base to work on, but I’m crying. Pair this with the constant headache when visualizing everything. I’m even using rain sounds through my headphones and pretending it’s raining outside the library. Mumei, stream soon. I need a break from this pain. Her streams are the only times when the headaches disappear, aside from sleep. I never realized just how hard visualization is, but I have the drive to keep going. I should not mess this up.
