That is fucking stupid if they are really doing that, as I said in >>9693840 Windows Fax and Scanner exists since 1992, it can save digital copies of any fax you send/recieve, in fact that is the default mode, you have to set a printer on the computer and in the program to auto print when you receive it
The only bad thing about fax in modern windows is that windows no longer has the image and fax viewer so you can't open the .tiff files that Fax are stored on to do file search on them, but if you have a strong organizing policy on your faxing from the go (something you can easily set up too) you should never have to use the hard copy versions of the files as a index
