The fabled brotubers you worship have existed in Japan for years now and yet male vtubers are still despised. Unicorns still and always will exist. It's a matter of sexual competition to men and no matter how respectful or "cool" the guys act there will always be a level of anger towards them. The JP Stars are despised in Japan and so are Kuzuha and Kanae and what have you.
It's not really anyone's fault and the sooner you let go of this notion the better.
