I'm severely deaf and on the older side of things. No real opportunities to go out plus girls don't know what to do when they can't spill their life story on you.
I like a few Vtubers, and I'm comfortable with a roof over my head.
There was a time in the early 2000s before the internet went corporate that I met a lot of people but now we're all segregated to our own little echo chambers.
At least I can be alone with my thoughts. Some of ya noisy folk have to constantly be singing to yourself or making some sort of chatter.
Vtubers do me good though I think. They don't have to respond to my shitposting but it's good to type at someone.

Exposure is a bitch. It used to be said that starving artists got paid in exposure.
I wouldn't go as far as to say the blue triangle is the end all be all, however. If I say Markiplier or Pewdiepie there is a high chance you know who they are. If I say one of the Japanese named Vtubers that are impossible to remember, you'll probably just default to oh, blue dorito people.
Still, it's not just Vtubing. The arts in general are a terror to make headway in. If you spend all your time creating like you want to, you have no time to get your name out. If you spend all your time getting your name out, you're probably not making much.
Artists make the world, but having backup makes a big difference.

You slid to into the archives when I was at work last time Cheebs. I know people love you and let you sneak by but I expected 300 posts of Cheeby goodness.

First I'm probably going to try and figure out what the fuck goes on inside that walled garden. Second I'm going to try to figure out how to make my chat show up on screen consistently. Third I'm going to go with the flow until the shadows roll in (inevitable) then I'm going to try to see what I can make to help me feel like I'm making progress.
We'll see. I've purposely stayed away from Holostar streams so I have no preconceived notions of them.
I've never been clique material so I just hope I get a manager that's relaxed so I don't get double pressure from myself and someone else.

Even if Gura were leaving, she’s probably only partway through the last contract she signed so at the soonest graduation would come around her next anniversary. After that they certainly can’t force her to stay, but they sure can offer incentives that will encourage her to stay.
