Mysta says he thinks Blue Lock is cliche but ultimately necessary because it serves as a new entry point to sports' anime since series like Haikyuu and Kuroko No Basuke are outdated and don't appeal to younger audiences as much anymore. It isn't for him but he thinks it's technically good.

I'm surprised so many people are of this opinion. I think it entirely goes against the major themes of the game which are forgiveness and moving on. I didn't particularly like the game but I think Hero most certainly forgave them, even if not right away.
