You awaken early the next morning. As usual, Elira is fast asleep. Looks like the streams are not happening today. You peer at her tranquil face. Her cheeks still flush from crying, and the pillow is wet with tears. Knowing she’s only wearing your white shirt; you peek at the beauty next to you. Clearly the shirt is too big for her, she did not button the top ones, frankly it looks like it’s going to explode at any moment. Her breasts are way too big for that shirt. Her appearance can only be described as inviting and defenseless. Before you get any funny ideas, the guilt comes back.
Gently you run your hand through her silky blue hair and over her porcelain white skin. At the contact, Elira’s eye slowly blink open, pushing away the sleep and a few remaining tears. You can’t see the other one but you assume both are now open. After a few moments Elira finally takes in the surroundings. She starts back and hides herself under the covers. A sad smile paints your face as you get out of bed.

After putting a kettle on, you fetch the day-after pills from the bathroom and place them, along with a glass of water on the table. Sitting down opposite the futon, you wait for Elira. When she has finally composed herself, she glumly leaves the covers and joins you at the table. Her eye is downcast, avoiding yours. Wordlessly, she takes the pill. It’s quite obvious that neither of you want to acknowledge yesterday’s events.

Taking a deep breath, you clear your throat and speak the first words.

“Sorry… about yesterday, I overdid it.”

No answer.

“Well, since I’ve got the day off, if you are not going to stream today... do you want to play Minecraft?”

Meekly she accepts.

“Mm.”
