I disagree on the winning = disadvantage bit. If you win an early engagement you ideally get better leveled armor and all their stuff. Fight, resupply at deathboxes, fight again. The big advantage is being able to snowball the armor advantage. Replicators also exist to fix supply issues.

This is only a disadvantage if the fight has gone on for too long. Yes if the Caustic sets up shop it is time to move on but otherwise you play the game entirely at the mercy of ground loot and team composition.
Can't be playing scared of third party, hell Gorilla has a really bad landmark he must fight to raise his armor level and get better attachments.

Vtuber meta is still shifting from high mobility to turtle comps, eventually we'll get to Fuse-Loba-Horizon hybrid comps to crack the shells. I'd like even Revtane just to poke all the barrels and then go back to ratting/rotating.
