/kr/ anon here. Not necessarily /lig/ but it has to do specifically with Twitch Korea itself, might cause some KR /lig/gers to move over. The tl;dr of it is that:
>All Twitch streams in Korea will be limited to 720p
>Even Twitch partners will be effected by this
>Twitch is working on some P2P, Peer-to-Peer system for some streamers to maintain quality, although they haven't specified who yet. (Highly experimental, and honestly why?)
>All this has some connection to the local ISPs trying to cut into the pies of streaming services. At least that's what it seems like.

I don't know Twitch that well, but is Twitch doing badly recently?
