Yeah but nobody ever stops at just voluntary, that's the problem. Once you buy into the idea that people should select for the best possible genetic combinations, eventually you're going to reach the point where doing so means those that aren't doing it are holding the rest of society back. And as much as people claim to believe in "live and let live", the reality is that's not how human beings work, they always involve themselves in the affairs of others because humans have a tendency to be moral busybodies.

These kinds of systems only work when it's not voluntary, that's the problem.
