They are delusional, they think the scene would naturally migrate to streaming when none of the big names before Nijisanji did regular streaming and it was mostly done by indies who couldn't afford 3D models, the only "big" names that did regular streaming during that era were Sora and Noracat, if the goblin hadn't become popular the scene would just follow Ai-chan with the video format (see gameclub and omegasis) and the more experimental stuff that indies did (see Karte and Merry)
