There is something PERVASIVE in most of the third world (and in most of the world, period) where actually paying for content is lame and getting it for free is the natural way things are supposed to work

Now, here is the thing: this mentality more or less went away because the newest generations IN THE DEVELOPED WORLD are accostumed to pay for content now with Spotify and Netflix being commonplace.

But in the third world? Good luck collecting even 10 cents, it's not that they don't have but that they DON'T WANT TO

It's not just the poorfags, anywhere where bootlegging is socially accepted even those who can fork the cash won't do it

It creates a vicious cycle where no company will court that market not just because of those who wouldn't buy the product anyway but because those who would but are socially pressed into just getting a bootleg version.
