I don't think Shu should be worried about relationships as long as he feels happy about where he is now, and there is little evidence that he is not. Most people who feel angst about not having dated are really just disaffected and isolated people in general, and as >>21959561 said he has a strong support network of family and friends that nourishes him well. He once said how he doesn't want to be a father when he grows up, but the "cool uncle" that his nephews would look up to which sort of implies that he doesn't want to marry. Marriage and cohabitation looks like cruel and unusual punishment to me. I wouldn't even if he came to my house and asked, 3 days into living together and I'd hate him more than anything in the world.
