Playing a childish character is much more well accepted in the west when done by people you don't really get the language or culture, like japanese anime catgirls, instead of people you can actually HEAR the cringe when they're forced to roleplay, like the western ones.

I love Kronii and have her reading superchat as one of my favorite background noises but you can actually HEAR the cringe in her voice 90% of ot he time she has to roleplay as her character.
She clearly would be much more comfortable "beeing herself" (webm unrelated, or not) but she's expected to play that role and she tries, badly
Calli dropped hers a long time ago and you can also hear the cringe in her voice when she has to play "shinigami".

I don't think western streamers are fit to play "lore" characters. Maybe nips aren't either and I just can pick up in their voices but westerners? Definitely cringe at doing it.
