hopechads and doomchads only oppose each other so strongly because it's that thing where a boy just beats the fuck out of a girl but only because he doesn't know any other way to tell her he's in love with her so he just beats the fuck out of her
except the beating goes both ways, kinda gets tiring to watch from time to time, and just seems to go on forever
