/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

Fuck it, I know it's a timeloop but I'll throw in my two cents.
I don't care if talents want to keep the FlaVR tag or even associate with FlaVR anymore. It's their channels that they built up, it's their choice if keeping the FlaVR "brand" if they want to. Early on the thread really pushed to have the talents "make it", but now that they have "made it" and they find to keep moving forward they have to distance themselves from FlaVR then it is what it is. Think of it like birds jumping out of the nest. Should the mother chickadee feel slighted that their baby birds are leaving the nest, or proud of how much they've grown? I prefer the latter.
Speaking about the FlaVR "brand", it has many different interpretations. The fake vtuber corpo, grifters just trying to get a crumb of attention from Pippa (or phase), just a bunch of babis, a loose indie group, all of these have been used to describe FlaVR. Most outsiders will pick one and stick with it.
Is the joke dead? Absolutely, it has been dead for awhile. The joke changed into something else, the actual brand of FlaVR now: just a bunch of small vtubers connected through interactions and overlapping fanbases. It's why /fvr/ is still around, even if the golden age of the thread is long gone. I'm fine with this as I like all the talents and the fans. If you're not, you're welcome to find a new thread to shill your favorite chuubas. /wvt/, /asp/, maybe /choc/, nothing is stopping you from shilling your favorite there. You won't though, because why go to those threads when there's /fvr/, a thread familiar and open to your favorite chuuba.

Basically don't put too much weight into the idea of FlaVR, and instead support the talents any way you can, basic timeloop shit we've been over before. To add a suggestion though, work on concealing power levels and containment breaking. Nobody is gonna want to collab with a chuuba whose chat is filled with a bunch of retards using buzzwords and phrases from /vt/. Timeloop over. Go home.
