I recall your mapmaker mentioning that someone in /infinity/ asked for the lake to be added in the middle of the mountain so that the island could be an extinct volcano. On the map the lake looks very much like an example of a volcanic crater lake.

I am asking for the purposes of the tectonic analysis. Whether the island has history of volcanism or not and more specifically, of what type of volcanism, is of some importance.
