Lamy's start was very atypical. What we do know that she already had good equipment and separate private studio appartment for streams at launch. Other than Boton and a few others with lots of prior streaming experience, this is highly suspicious since most girls start with Potatos and don't get anything until after they get their first paycheck after two months of streaming. Much less a separate apartment studio. Even before getting paid, Lamy already spent way more then her first two months earnings on her merch, she confirmed that her first paycheck was actually negative. So she obviously comes from money and does not care.

Someone high up at Cover is obviously looking after her and sheltering her before debu. It was obvious that there was little to no vetting needed for most of gen 5 hiring since it launched only 6 months after gen 4. Usually it takes that long just for tryouts and interviews. It's also unlikely that cover would hire someone like her in such a short time with no experience streaming, singing, or doing other idol like activities without some kind of insider bias.

It's very likely that she is some kind of upper class princess related to someone close to Cover higher ups or a major investor who could get her in. Her hobbies like drinking and flower arrangement etc smell of upper class princess lifestyle. We also know that yakuza money is balls deep in the Japanese idol industry and Cover is initially funded by banks associated with these activities. Hence the rumors that she is some kind of Yakuza princess.
